Chapter 5: Chapter 5 – Something Missing.
Its day 3 after the game official release.
Today I made a new pair of [Bronze Dagger(s)] for Kitty and I also made this for myself.
[Two Handed Copper Hammer]
[A hammer made using copper. The face of the hammer is flat, making the weapon deal pure blunt damage.]

Item crafting at first is very hard I would say, but once you get used to it, it became easier. For example, when I was creating the daggers and the hammer, it obviously took some tries before I finally succeeded, BUT it didn't took that many tries as when I was making a sword.
By the look of things, since I already have better understanding of crafting that I did in beginning, I had now easier time making stuff, I struggled a bit when I was making a daggers and the hammer, but that was because I never made them before. When I was making the sword I both: never ever made sword before and I was still a complete newbie in blacksmithing art. But now I have some knowledge in blacksmithing unlike before.
I also tried today making an armor using the letter.

It's only slightly better version of the thing we had before, but it's still better.
Making the armor using leather wasn't the difficult as I thought it would be and I didn't failed that many times before I finally succeeded.
I also had some spare leather after making 3 chest armors, so I deiced to make something using it.

I manage to make helmet for each of us, well I kind of needed to readjust them for Kitty, since had cat ears.
Thanks to the new gear, we manage to level up easier that I though.
(I kind of get right now what he meant about equipment. You can feel the difference. I'm taking less damage that before from attacks and I can way more easily kill the monsters without much effort.) – though Forge while fighting a monster.

"Level up again. Anyway guys, you know I can handle myself right now, so there is no need to help me."
"Dude, we wanted a weapon and you also gave us armor, we own you one now. Besides, thanks to the new items you gave us, we can kill any monsters with ease at this level." - said Hype.

"By the way, I've been meaning to ask something. Why you aren't you leveling up the [Advance Blacksmith] yet and instead leveled up [Insectian Warrior – Beetle]?" – asked Kitty.

"O-oh…That? Well, I'm going to be honest with you, I'm lost."
At first crafting wasn't easy, but after repainting the process over and over again, learning what I did correct and wrong. But after finally taking my real first steps, I started to manage to craft items easier that before. It still takes me some tries and failures before I can learn something new, but it still better when I started.
BUT IT WAS STILL WRONG.
I know the finally products I made weren't the failures unlike my previous attempts, but I could still feel that I somehow made them wrong.
At first, I thought that I maybe I needed to finally acquire the [Advance Blacksmith]. So, I acquired it and level it up few times, but then found out it wasn't it.
"Wait, wouldn't maxing out the [Advance Blacksmith] would have helped?" – asked Kitty.
"No, it wouldn't. Relaying solely on the skills that class gives will always result in failure. I already tested it out multiple times, yesterday with sharp stick and today few times with copper weapons. Pretty much you have to learn. Heck, I used all the money you two gave me to buy ores and I still didn't had enough of them so I had to salvage the failures I made."
"Like I also said before to you, I didn't manage to properly made your item until X times of tries. I'm still pretty much a newbie when it comes to the blacksmithing that only took few steps."
"I thought maybe if I try making different weapons or armor, I may be found out the thing I'm missing or something."
"…Dude. Calm down. You spend hours locked in the blacksmith, doing the same thing over and over again. I think you are over thinking it way too much." – said Hype.
"He is right. Even during the hunting, you were kind of lost in thoughts and monster ended up hitting you because of that." – said Kitty.
"Maybe…Maybe you are right. Maybe I'm overthinking it." – said Forge.
(I perfectly made the weapons and armor without any flaws. Maybe I thought that I could make it somehow better when its already perfectly made?)
"…. I think I'm fine now. Sorry that you had worry about me. Let's resume hunting."
"You sure you, okay?"
"Yea, man. I need to clear up my mind a bit, so maybe hunting some monsters and leveling up may help me."
The trio beginned walking towards the deeper parts of the forest, killing any monsters they encounter along the way and leveling up multiple times, before finally returning back to the town

"How is that my bloody fault?!" – said Hype.
"Of bloody course it's your fault! There wasn't any bear type monster in the past or anything. Instead of being careful you went straight in!"
"How the bloody hell I would know that it hit so hard?!"
(Here they go again.)
We encounter one of the new monsters called black bear. It had level 31 and it hit hard, very hard. Even though I had the highest defense out all of us, he still hit me for a lot. To make this worse, this guy was tanky as well, so the fight kind of dragged on.
We manage to kill it, but we wasted some of our potions in the process.
(And we are here again, with them trying kill each other again. Maybe I should buy from now one extra potions in case.)
"Hm?"
(Oh, that guys is caring a great sword. It often appears in games and in fantasy's, it's quiet interesting seeing it here.)
"…."
"Wait a bloody second."
(This isn't a reality that I live in! I'm in bloody fantasy!)
(FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, I'M NOT EVEN HUMAN RIGHT NOW BUT A GIANT BUG!)
(That kind of sword would be not good in real life, but this a god dammed fantasy where you can pretty much use those kind of weapons!)
"Guys, I'm going to leave you for the moment. BYE!" – said Forge while quickly running away.
"?"
"What suddenly got into him?" – asked Kitty.
"Don't know."
Moments later at the smith.
(If my guess is correct, the thing that I was missing was the imagination.)
(When it comes to the fantasizes, there are many different things.)
(Hype and Kitty told me there were weapons during beta where some people would use a giant axes, swords or shields. Hype himself said that he was using great sword in the past.)
(He also told me that he once saw a player use a bow that instead of arrows shoots magic or a gun that has power of the cannon.)
(Because I made my first weapon as realistic as in real life, I thought that was all to crafting weapons, but that wasn't really the case.)
(What I needed to understand was THIS WORLD blacksmithing.) – though Forge while hammering.
(I need to understand how things works in this world and to do so, I need to think, I need to let my imagination go wild.)
(In world of fantasies, monsters exists, magic exits, materials that don't exists in real world exists, different races exists and many more different things are here that are not real in real world. A world with its own logic.)
(I WILL UNDESTAND IT! I will understand logic of this world and use it for myself. I will use it to craft my creation, I will use it to see even more!)
"I will become the blacksmith of this god dammed fantasy world!" – stated Forge while finish his new creation.

[A great sword made using copper. The weapon itself seems way bigger that normal sword and it's also heavier than normal sword, but yet it is useable.]
