Chapter 263: 263. Onward & Upward (Tommee Profitt and Fleurie)

It had taken four men to stop Lance from opening the floor door in the ship container after he had realized that he couldn't reach Paige anymore. 

After they calmed him down, Maurice had a long talk with him, albeit not necessary because Lance was already clearheaded again.

Then Lance ordered someone to stand in front of the camera to remind Paige to contact him via Morse code. If she wouldn't do that, he had to storm the bunker anyway. But if the Paige hadn't even realized that the phone was dead, how could she contact him and tell him that everything was alright?

Who would have thought it would only take four fucking days for the worst case to happen? Lance immediately knew it had something to do with James, but he clung to the hope he was mistaken, as well as to the rule of creators not being able to kill anyone if the storyline wasn't requesting it.
