Chapter 18: 15. Hangover
Sil woke up being shackled to a wall in some sort of temple… Checked if all is in order, then discovered that pitiful fact. 'Why am I, gods! Have I killed the royalty while drunken..?'
'No you didn't.' Said the queen in chains few Staj further.
'We've got a little fun while drunk, and these are the consequences.' King added.
'Where's Vile?'
'She's kind of worshiped as a savior god of this city.'
'And wheres Geode?' The name of her father came to his mind. He gave it to him while drinking brudershaft.
'He sent us some message: Have fun! You got the finest wedding party I ever heard of!' Queen quoted.
'What wedding?!?'
'Yours and Vile's of course.' King sent him a smug smile. While Sil was processing the words, then fainted again.
Vile was tortured by her worshipers as she was now a sort of god, she haven't killed them hence they meant no harm. But then a group echoing voices arose: "King's Bethrodal, new couple for one night, then kill the bride!"
At those words she realized the true intent of those fanatics, bound a great double-edged battleaxe, and started cleaving her way to Sil and royalty crying for help, now she heard them clearly, as if broke out some kind of control. Bloodshed lasted as cultists ran under axe's blade, and Vile got little wearied of slashing, so switched to a swift scythe, appearing as grim reaper himself. After a plentiful harvest, she finally reached the temple's gates, but could not open the massive enchanted steel door.
She decided to bound a leviatanic warhammer with shaft three times taller than herself, then after granting a barrier from crazed folks, prepared an arc of might. As expected even wonder of smithy could not resist force of weight altered blunt strike. As the dust slowly fell down the floor, a gruesome picture appeared before Vile's eyes. Royalty, and Sil were being tickled with large feathers.
"Really you were crying because of that?" She said while sending two tiny needles into mideyes of torturers.
'Don't blame us, just release!' Queen thought embarassed.
'Right, then you'll help me settle the matter of my fanatics. And also I got a king to have a little chat with… Not you, not you!' She added as scared king made watery eyes.
"I go with you." Sil said.
"Happy time as newlyweds!" Royalty cheered out of survive sense.
"WHAT?!?" Vile shouted overwhelmed by sudden return of memory.
'No, no, no!'
'I also am stunned by this, especially I don't remember anything!' Sil exclaimed.
She just ran through the now fleeing crowd, as even fanatics can respect the true blood lust. In few moments they were already in the palace. Two well equipped men stood their way:
"You must be strong to make this thus far. We'll kill you right after ripping your eyes off and show you…"
"Enough bull****" Vile said disgusted while delivering a double kama hack, decapitating both bodyguards. Then an obviously drugged man appeared saing; "My goddes, be my…" And never ended due to lack of brain, or rather his brain adorn walls and ceiling.
"This is too much even for me, let's get outta here." Sil said while cleaning his staff with a quick airward slash.
"Agreed" Vile whispered, while heading to the exit. Then all four appeared in the same cave's room where were having tea, and drinking yesterday.
"Congratulations to the newlywed!" Geode exclaimed, then received two simultaneous punches to his belly, infused with fury of the couple.
