Chapter 95: Chapter 95: Harbor City Temple

Orion glanced at the address on the back of the membership card: Macau, South Bay Avenue, No. 1888.

He pondered for a moment but decided not to go directly to Macau. Instead, he conjured a portal out of thin air and arrived directly at the Harbor City Temple.

It made sense; he always greeted the temple master here. Despite his new title as the Supreme Sorcerer, it didn't mean he could overlook his previous obligations.

The Harbor City Temple was situated in the bustling urban area of Kowloon, Hong Kong. Skyscrapers rose from the ground, while the alluring aroma of food drifted from the alleys. The sounds of vendors hawking their wares echoed continuously.

As the saying went, "The great hide in the city." The builders of the Harbor City Temple had wisely chosen a central location rather than a secluded one, integrating the temple seamlessly into the downtown environment.

The temple resembled a retro apartment with two floors and a massive skylight shaped like the Eye of Agamotto. Without spiritual talent, one would find it difficult to detect the building's subtle abnormalities.

Orion paced through the alley. Seeing familiar faces stirred a sense of nostalgia. After passing through the secluded alley, the Hong Kong temple came into view.

He rang the doorbell.

The door of the Harbor City Temple opened, revealing a plump otaku with a blank expression, dressed as a master of Mystic Magic. His eyes widened, and he bowed hastily.

"Your Excellency, the Acting Supreme Sorcerer."

"I apologize for not welcoming you sooner."

"Why are you here at the Harbor City Temple?"

"Is this the order of the Ancient One?"

The rotund man, though stern and expressionless, had a robust physique. Despite never having interacted with Orion personally, he had heard of Orion's past from Master Murphyson.

In brief, he held a favorable impression of Orion. Orion had managed to hold his own in front of the Ancient One and Odin, acting with restraint and dignity.

He served as the acting Supreme Sorcerer.

Wong was convinced!

[Name]: Wong

[Identity]: Temple Guardian

[Entry]: Serious (green), Skilled in Business (green), Social Expert (green), Read a Hundred Times (blue).

[Serious] (Green): Wong displays a natural dignity and rarely shows his emotions. Despite his stoic exterior, he is loyal, honest, and deeply trusted by other guardian sorcerers.

[Excellent Skills] (Green): As the chief sorcerer of the Harbor City Temple, Wong is proficient in numerous esoteric arts and can handle common spiritual beings with ease.

[Social Master] (Green): His extraordinary affinity allows him to make others lower their guard, making friends with anyone he desires.

[Read a Book a Hundred Times] (Blue): Having worked as a librarian for an extended period, Wong is familiar with nearly all esoteric magic texts and many unknown secrets. He is highly respected in the Eastern magic world.

Orion studied Wong's entry panel, noting a hint of surprise.

[Excellent Skills]?

[Social Expert]?

Wong possessed these talents? He had also served as Kamar-Taj's librarian for an extended period?

Orion nodded subtly.

He then entered the Harbor City Temple. The air was thick with the passage of time. The furnishings and layout resembled those of the New York Temple, though there were fewer ancient magic tools and more secret magical props.

"I came to the Harbor City Temple by coincidence. Please don't be too nervous."

Orion smiled warmly and started a casual conversation with Wong.

"Wong."

"Have you had any communication with the S.P.E.A.R.?"

Orion's curiosity was evident.

The S.P.E.A.R.! It was rumored to have up to 150,000 permanent agents, spanning all walks of life, and even an air base, which Orion had only heard of but never seen!

Even the official forces of China knew nothing about it.

Wong was undoubtedly the best entry point!

How could the Sorcerer of the Hong Kong City Temple be entirely in the dark?

"There has been no communication."

"But I have encountered an officially registered superhero, the Weather Witch."

"At Soldier One's funeral…"

Wong's expression darkened. He and Soldier One had been barely friends, but Soldier One had been killed during a secret mission.

It was rumored that Xian Zheng, director of the Spear of God, was trying to get the Weather Witch's approval to establish a new secret force, appointing her as its captain.

This new force was to be benchmarked against Nick Fury's 'Avengers Project,' and was called… God-making!

"The Weather Witch?" Orion frowned. The name sounded familiar.

"Yes."

"She has awakened the God factor and can control atmospheric changes. Her strength is considerable."

Wong nodded in agreement.

"I understand."

"See you tomorrow, then."

Orion waved and prepared to head to the Golden Dagger Club.

Before doing so, he needed to disguise himself, conceal his true identity, and create a secret persona to prevent any leaks about his role as the supplier of this entry.

The title of Kamar-Taj's acting Sorcerer Supreme was too conspicuous!

There were countless eyes watching in secret, including those who hated Kamar-Taj, like the Demon Cult and the Blasphemer Cult, who sought to kill him and prevent the rise of another Ancient One .

"You're leaving?"

"Where are you going?"

Wong's surprise was evident.

"I'm visiting an old friend."

Without a backward glance, Orion walked away.

In an instant, he found himself in a special city across the sea from the Harbor City Temple.

Macau, a city of extreme luxury, occupied a natural harbor, with frequent international trade and a reputation as a capital of entertainment.

A renowned tourist and leisure destination.

One of the four major casinos!

The Golden Dagger Club was located in a remote area, in an abandoned building contracted by its secretive owner. Thrilling competitions occurred almost daily, broadcast live on the dark web!

Orion did not enter the Golden Dagger Club immediately. Instead, he visited a souvenir shop. After a brief inspection, he purchased a clown mask.

It fit perfectly, concealing his identity.

"I can grant words to living things…"

"Could I inscribe the words onto the mask?"

"Turn it into an artifact?"

After paying for the mask, Orion had a brilliant idea!
