Scored at 0%, I Woke Up as the Strongest Skeleton in the Dungeon
[On Hiatus Due to Other Projects - comment to revive]
Forty kids got pulled into another world to be heroes.
Amari Yuuto got a zero.
Not a low score. A zero. The magic orb that ranks every soul took one look at him, pulled back like he was something it didn't want to touch, and printed the first 0% the kingdom had ever seen. His classmates got crowns, enchanted blades, and palace suites. Yuuto got a rusty sword out of a scrap barrel and a cot in a cellar with the latch on the outside.
Then they sent the zero down the dungeon first. To find the traps. The hard way.
So when the floor opened under the people he was protecting, nobody was surprised it was him who fell.
He should have died down there. Instead he drowned in water no one knew existed, a spring of perfect mana older than the kingdom itself, and it took him apart one piece at a time. His flesh died. His bones didn't. He woke blind in the dark, lighter and stronger than anything alive, reading the world by the way it shakes. And something vast, and very, very lonely, was already down there in the black with him.
Here's the part the kingdom got wrong.
Yuuto doesn't want revenge. He doesn't want them on their knees, doesn't want them to burn. He just wants out. He wants to be free of every last one of them.
And the most dangerous thing about a boy who can't be killed is how little he has left to say to the people who threw him away.
They were wrong about the number.
They just have a long way to fall before anyone tells them how wrong.
