During this time Leroy met Tracey, the beautiful last-born adopted child of Henry Luther. They fell in love and dated secretly. Shortly after Henry Luthers' death, Tracey got pregnant for Leroy and they planned to get married after the birth of their child. It was after a few years of his service that Henry Luther died leading to his mum being unceremoniously relieved of her job because of her old age but he was retained. Leroy was retained to help take care of the father's estate before the reading of Henry Luthers' will. According to the instruction of Henry Luther, The Will was to be read exactly a year after his demise. Having been privy to some details of the will, particularly a clause that stated that the inheritance will be divided equally among every living offspring provided they were still alive us at the date of the reading of his will. Sierra connived with Michael and Stacey to eliminate everyone who could pose a threat to them receiving the inheritance even eliminating Gabriel who was the responsible son. They suspected that majority of the inheritance was going to be given to Gabriel and they all would get little or nothing because before his death Henry Luther caught Michael in bed with his wife. They planned to do this by all means possible. From infesting the island with snakes to hiring assassins, planting booby traps, unleashing a curse that was resident on the island if an ancient agreement was broken, and even launching airstrikes. On the instruction of Mr. Luther, the family was to spend one month together on one of his islands so they could bond better before the will was read. Leroy Brodes innocently attended as help but ends up having to call on all his battle skills and experience to save himself, his wife-to-be, his mother, and his stepbrother who mysteriously survived.
