Wandering Merchants of Aeterna
In the peaceful Eternal Empire of Aeterna, roads matter more than battlefields, and merchants travel farther than most nobles ever dream of. After inheriting a small caravan from his family, Elias Veyr leaves his quiet countryside village with a simple goal:
to cross the known world one road at a time.
Alongside his loud and overly confident friend Marek, a grey cat that refuses to leave their wagon, and eventually companions they never expected to meet, Elias begins a journey across the thirteen regions of the empire—trading wine in golden countryside towns, negotiating in desert cities where water is treated like currency, and traveling toward frozen northern ports lit by whale-oil lanterns.
But while the roads of Aeterna are peaceful, they are never empty.
Every city has its own rhythm.
Every traveler carries a dream. And every journey changes the people walking it. Elias dreams of building more than a single caravan. One day, he hopes to own multiple caravans each going in different direction, ships that cross distant seas, and a store in the imperial capital itself all in five years, then return home and do it all again.
For now, however, his journey begins with one wagon, a few trade goods, and the open road ahead.
A warm fantasy slice-of-life about travel, romance, friendship, merchants, relationships and discovering a beautiful world step by step.
