Can you share a funny school band trip story?

Our school band was playing at an outdoor event. A bird flew right into the trumpet player's bell. He was so startled but managed to keep holding his instrument. After a few seconds, the bird flew out, leaving the trumpet player looking both shocked and amused, and the rest of us were in stitches.
