Honestly this is one of the best books I’ve read. There’s some chapters that frustrate me with slow pace but as a whole it’s an amazing story. I’ve bought the highest tier of privilege for probably a year in a row at this point. I highly recommend this story!

Fluctuates based on strength but it really everyone cultivates to an extent as all nexarians receive elemental spirits at 8 years of that enhances their bodies. Other species live longer too. It’s kind of nebulous but people live a long time. It’s not super important, but it’s mainly there to make the battle between the gods, their creations and the Dragal be almost an eternal and long war that’s been happening for a long time. Also to explain older technologies and ancient things appearing in the story to be logical rather than “oh just random 2000 year old herb or object suddenly appears!” Kind of thing that makes almost no sense in other stories. At least this is more believable based on life expectancies and creation times.
With a flourish of the door's opening, in walked a scholarly gentleman, Sir Ian. He was a man that looked to be about 60 years old. In reality, he was already 8,000 years old as the average life expectancy in the world of Nexaria is 10,000 years.

I think my writing improves after chapter 25-30, but keeps more consistent later. Lots of practice is making it better I think. But, no worries if you don’t like it. Water works for the techniques and overall vibe of creating a typhoon. Gotta have the rain and lightning for a powerful shocking combo. The force of a tsunami and the electrifying destruction of lightning bolts. Incredibly dangerous and it synergizes well with each other more than wind. He and his halbard can generate enough force and pressure to do anything wind can.

No guns in this world since I want it more similar to a Chinese cultivation story. Unique weapons exist but I just think guns don’t fit the fantasy setting I’m envisioning. They’re too op.
