Then that would imply that one of those beings is in there... and perhaps is the Wishing Well.

And that was what Ariel, that madman, had inscribed on the walls of the Estuary. The stories of the Void, the knowledge about it… and the True Names of the harrowing beings that dwelled within its everchanging depths, imprisoned by the gods.

I just gotta say. Sharp hair pins - if they're bladed and the blade is sharp and hasn't been covered - you lose hair and then the sharp hair pins falls out. Don't try it if you don't want a bad hair cut. If the blade is blunt and uncovered, it takes ages to cut anything with it but it does make an effective stabbing tool with sufficient force. Most hair pins will have no blade, which means it can't be used as a cutting tool, but might possibly be used as a prying or stabbing tool. Even then, most hair pins I've ever tried to do anything with, unless they were solid metal, tended to bend, break or crack easily. Most unhelpful. If you've ever used a sharp ended hair pin, pray that you don't stab yourself with it or scrape your scalp with it while you're putting up your own hair, someone else it putting up your hair for you, or you/someone is putting it into your hair do as decoration. It really hurts and if you aren't careful, you can easily get a wound infection, which stinks and hurts and may cause you to lose a small section of your hair that had to be shaved in order for the wound to be dealt with properly. And then anybody who comes near you can smell the infected wound and wrinkle their nose at you, thinking you're a dirty person who never showers or washes their hair, et cetera, so on and so forth. Sharp hair pins also have the troublesome problem of causing split ends when you're trying to stick them into you hair, because if they're sharp, they break your hair and ruin it. And sometimes when you've finally managed to get them in your hair and everything is fine, something happens which caused either you or another person to inexplicably be injured by that sharp tool in your hair. Such as you almost trip, somebody reaches out to steady you but they miss, instead getting either stabbed or scratched by the hairpins. Or a friend spots you and comes over to greet you by putting their arm around your shoulder or something and somehow they get stabbed and or scratched by said offending sharp ended hair pin. Or someone tells you to look up at just the right wrong angle and you stab yourself with that annoying sharp ended hairpin. There are some true stories in there. In short, hair pins are best made sturdy (but the sturdy ones also tend to be heavy, so look out for that) and blunt. It's safest for everyone, especially the wearer of the hair pin.

I wonder whether the group almost pass this loop of the Nightmare but then have to start from the start all over again when they were just about to make it. Just to make all the readers hold our heads and scream. And if Sunny loses his memory again or not. Or maybe, they really do pass the Nightmare on this go because we've already been in this Nightmare long enough and learn enough clues to satisfy the Sunny without him becoming Defiled. We probably need to learn more about Ariel, the god of oblivion, Weaver and how they did/didn't save themselves from war and mutual death (gods Vs daemons) because they had all become corrupted. Which means, what happened to the bodies of the gods and daemon's and how big were they if an Unholy Titan was the size of Ariel's Tomb pyramid. Wait, the pyramid in the Dreamworld had already been blasted open by something, so technically, those Dark Butterflies have a chance of emerging from the real tomb if those big families really disturb the tomb... that's a scary thought. Or maybe the cohort could bring us to the information source of the Defilement, so that all the readers become Defiled, but Sunny and Co continue onwards in ignorance by restarting the loop. Then while they remain free to return to the Dreamworld again with sufficient power to deal with the Skin Walker and search for a Gate to escape the Desert. Maybe they return to Antarctica to dominate a small section of it or find a way to escape. Or maybe they escape to a different part of the main world via a different Gate. Perhaps by the time they finish the Nightmare, the main world has been eaten up by the Dreamworld and amalgamated with it. And we skip toward the climax building section of the main plot. Perhaps, the Cohort learn how to transcend by themselves in this Nightmare and when they do defeat the Nightmare, they are not Saints, but the level above and already a powerful force directly able to deal with those powerful families. And then when they return to the main world, they become disaster bringers, because wherever they go, Gates open up and they have to live in the Dreamworld. And then Rain becomes a Sleeper and aces the first Nightmare, making Sunny proud. Perhaps the answer to preventing the main world from merging with the Dreamworld is on the moon, and many answers as to which god/daemon built the main world becomes apparent. Perhaps the Pyramid is their training ground for the moon. Or not. What if the Dreamworld, like the Pyramid, is one giant loop? What if the main world was stuck in a loop, awaiting the right person/people to wake up to the loop, emerge and save all the worlds from complete and utter destruction. What if one person ends up sacrificing himself in order to destroy the source of the Defilement and Corruption? What if... If all the 6-7 worlds are doomed for destruction, what happened to the original worlds where the gods came from? What if the gods were also the champions and last survivors of another world out in the Void and our cohort are about to be doomed to repeat their story, with their Flaws becoming tangible and appearing from the Void to become their Daemons? Because once you become strong enough to become a god, there must be a corresponding flaw. Then what if the Cohort have to find out how to deal with and enter the Void in order to find the original creator of this whole mess and end up finding... the Author. And then interrogate him on how to rebuild a peaceful world without Nightmares, corrupted creatures, and then they become the safeguarding guardians of a world without Corruption or Defilement, protecting the normal people from the Author who must be a Defiled creature if he is the Source. If Weaver's inheritance and bloodline can absorb all the other inheritance and bloodlines, what happens if Sunny ends up fighting and obtaining all the drops of ichor and various inheritances which are eaten by Weaver's inheritance? What if Weaver was/is Sunny's past/future self? Nah.
