He has to keep his wolf side hidden from everyone else around him, while in high school. He has to be careful. But when a threat comes, the main character decides to reveal what he is and has to take action to prevent something bad from happening, but when he gets a vision of the world to come he realizes he can't do much to prevent it and the only other option would be to survive.
