The world was an instrument, a tool, and a force meant to be seized by man… yet, should man extend his hands into realms beyond, it would bite back. For if a king wishes to soar, he must first take flight; but if a peasant wishes to live, he must first embrace death. This person was neither king nor peasant. He was already dead, yet by the mercy—or whim—of the gods, he had been granted a second chance. Cast into a world where power reigned as king and weakness was the mark of a peasant, this boy held no ambition to soar above others or to bend them to his will. His wish was simpler, yet no less profound: he wished to live—and, if he could not, then to die on his own terms. Yet with no ambition he sits on a Throne of Eyes and which he seeks.
