Love the world building, love the characters, some parts slow. with 400+ chapters still some story lines were left wanting or maybe forgotten. Good read, plot twists took me by surprise, some parts were sad and angst filled

Second chance stories is one of my fave tropes. The angst is good, and not just angst for the pain with no sense or gratification.

Classic story of choosing your own fate leading to finding your true love. Love it to pieces. Hugh and Lucia are such great characters. Love love love this novel a lot.

Amazing story of self discovery, growth, and love built in a solid fantasy world that hooked me right in with magic and monsters. Sometimes I wish I could forget the story so I can re read it all again with the same anticipation but it still did not stop me from reading this for the 4th time.
