Oh. I write my chapters elsewhere and then post it in parts in the editor as I write it. That causes overlap sometimes. 99% of the time I catch it, but I missed it this time, sorry about that.

"...I have to choose a King Consort right now?!"
No sooner did the young woman from Earth awake in the body of Empress Isabelle of Nevremia than she was informed she'd have to choose a King Consort to keep her throne. While she was still trying to get used to her new body, new world, and new position, her advisors insisted she marry some stranger to retain her power.
"But don't Empresses get to make the rules?"
As Isabelle Von Nevremia. not only is she the revered empress of a powerful country, but she has access to a special status system, which allows her to read people's names, skills, moods, and even their kinks. As well as that, there's some kind of mysterious 'challenge' system that awards her 'skill points' for successfully completing challenges.
...But all the challenges are just seducing people. How tacky...
"...If I'm going to be Empress, then I won't have a king! I'm going to have a harem!"

Reborn into the world of her favorite novel, 'Auberon's Edge', as the maid of an unimportant side character - the doomed princess who would be married off to the villain and then killed in a fit of anger some time after they were married - Rache is faced with a moral dilemma: does she use her knowledge to flee the to-be-conquered nation and live somewhere she knows will be safe, or risk upturning the fate of the book by warning Princess Airie about her impending doom?
Before Rache can decide, she's ambushed in her bedroom by the princess' guard. Knowing how dangerous the black hearted prince of Sidera is, the princess declares she's forcing her maid to go in her place due to the maid bearing a striking resemblance to her own rare features, while the real princess goes into hiding until her parents can find a way to get untangled from Sidera's web.
"Remember, if the prince finds out the truth, he'll kill you first."
Trapped in a marriage to a cold-hearted sadist who only loves violence, railroaded into a pointless ending before the story even begins. There is no escape to this twisted romance but death.
Rache - the new Princess Airie - will not go so quietly into the night.
"Let's break up!"
"Always remember, no matter how much a fae may seem like they experience emotions, no matter how human like a fae may behave...a fae can never be a human."
The Keybearer. A young maiden from another world foretold by ancient prophesy, destined to collect the seven keys and save the world.
Surely that's the kind of story that finds some plucky high schooler dreaming of adventure and whisks them off to find their true love, right? Overworked salary women like Emily have long passed the point where such fantasies can come true, and even if they did, it's not like she'd know the first thing about what to do.
...So of course, nobody even bothered to ask her before dropping her into an entirely new world full of magic and danger. Like the three hungry orcs eyeing her as soon as she wakes up.
"What do you mean I can sense the keys if I use magic?! What magic?!"
If Emily could, she'd have immediately issued a rejection letter, but unfortunately, the only way back is to finish her quest somehow.
But it's not all danger and confusion. The knight who rushed into battle to save her is charming and kind and gorgeous, and the beautiful and lonely prince has a soft and kind smile only for her. If everyone she meets along the way is like them...
Well. It can't be that bad, right?
"...--I'VE BEEN KIDNAPPED BY A PAINTING?!"
There's nothing wrong with Adelaide's life.
There's nothing wrong with being cheated on. After all, half of marriages end in divorce and most end from infidelity.
There's nothing wrong with getting addicted to an otome game. After all, everybody has something they're obsessed with.
There's nothing wrong with reincarnating as the villainess instead of the heroine. After all, the villainess is richer and more powerful.
There's nothing wrong with the villainess chasing after one of the love interests. After all, it's not like he's the canon route.
There's nothing wrong with Ophelia's life.
"Brave Soul, to take on this SSSS rank world and save it from the demon king, you can choose one ultimate power!"
"...All these are too overpowered. I don't want any of them."
Ryo Takahashi has a simple goal in life: to complete and conquer the hardest games in the world with pure skill. No cheating. No cheap tactics. Absolutely no easy mode.
Although he may have failed to complete that goal in his unexpectedly short life, that doesn't mean he can't just do it with his next life, by choosing the hardest content possible and refusing any cheap power ups.
After all, if there's no challenge, what's the point?
"Brave warrior! Your humble determination has earned you the greatest power of them all! Good luck on your journey!"
"Wait a minute, what did you just say?!"
Gloom Dwellers. Evil spirits that devour souls and are invisible to the human eye. Only members of the Order of the Light can fight back against their might. These exorcists hail from ancient blessed bloodlines which confer upon each of them individual spirit powers they use to fight Gloom Dwellers. Caden McLaren is a 'tainted blood' - the product of a pairing between the most powerful exorcist to ever grace the Order and a plain human.
Due to his tainted blood, he bears no spirit powers except the ability to perceive Gloom Dwellers. His mother's death in childbirth made him her only heir, and so Caden is adopted by the Order and trained to be an exorcist regardless of his inability to do so. And his disinterest in doing so.
While it seems the Gloom Dwellers have nearly been wiped from the world entirely, a new and staggeringly powerful Gloom Dweller has formed, possessing both genius intellect and sharp cunning.
Caught unaware, the Order is thoroughly devastated in a sudden massive attack orchestrated by this new leader, and only Caden and a few of his friends survive the purge. In the process of escaping, Caden discovers he is the first tainted blood to somehow have a spirit power after all: he controls the Gloom - a cursed and malleable goo that Gloom Dwellers naturally create and wave to their purposes.
Caden is the ultimate King of the Gloom, and the last dying ember of the Order of Light.
Isabelle probably doesn't either.
