I just don't know what the author wanted to show, from the beginning of the story to up till now. ?

Well I didn't like the way mc kill that man that came to his rescue with good intentions. But if you tell me to choose between, a goody two shoes mc and this mc, then I will gladly going to choose this mc. A ruthless mc that can go to any lengths just to fulfill his goal is a billion times better that a goody shoes piece of a garbage wimpy mc.
