I think it's all the same word in Chinese. There seems to be some confusion between daughter in law and wife as well. Not to mention Official and eunuch !! the person translating either doesn't understand the difference or didn't bother reading the final version. Either way, it seems like the sort of mistake they're getting paid to avoid... if it carries on like this there will be flocks of "nice story - raws anyone" in the reviews!!!

Why is MTL (and bad mtl at that) allowed on this site? the first 2/3 chapters were ok and the story seems interesting but it's not readable. The protagonist becomes a he, gets called a nanny words become confused. I'll read it free elsewhere - why pay for this?
I am constantly astounded by how it seems perfectly acceptable in China to be nosy to the extreme because you are "family". Even third cousins twice removed...
This is one of those "came to earn a fp and stayed" novels! I thought it was going to be an "incomprehensible spoilt young miss novel" but it's not. She's a fiery intelligent willful girl that has far too much money (and power) at her disposal, but there is nothing spoilt about her at all. Lots of dashing young and not so young men out there too. The only quibble I have is that the villains are incredibly stupid (I refuse to see the uncle as a villain so far - unfair, perhaps, but not a villain, there has to be more to this!!). Well worth the read. Looking forward to reading more!
