Did I just pay to unlock a repeat chapter? Will this be corrected?

This father trying to kill his son with no one standing up for the son has gone on too long. This abuse is beyond the pale. It is killing the story for me.

Being blood related is not an excuse to tolerate or enable abuse. The old man should die and my opinion of second mother has gone down.

So even after winning the tournament, Rio still has zero backing? No one thinks it is a good idea to preserve a future talent for the human race? Second Mother does nothing while her kids are kidnapped/tortured. Eve does nothing. I am afraid that I must agree that this is a nonsensical cartoonish level villain now. How do the people that did nothing redeem themselves? So confused.
