I mentioned that he was 'reincarnated' and the system helped him awaken his previous life's memories. And he's trying to save them because he was an orphan and an introvert so he wanted to be close to someone in his life and now that he has parents why wouldn't he try to do so. Also I personally like Minato and Kushina a lot so they would be alive.
