I understand where you are coming from, you think L would be angry that his plan didnt work, this is just my opinion but i think it was loss Light either way. L has publicly challenged Light to kill him and if Light did, (he would have known, Light could kill someone without being there, so exposing the supernatural side of things), if Light didn't kill fake L. (Kira will lose the public belife as they may now consider Kira as not all-powerful). So yeah, lose lose situation for light .
The Broadcast ended and I smiled. The joy of winning this first encounter of ours was amazing. I can almost hear L gnashing his teeth since he wasn't successful with his trap but this also gave him an idea of my thoughts.
