A young man finds himself on the brink of death after an unsuccessful and short life. Yet when his eyes shut after accepting his fate, there was nothing. No pain, no bright pathway one would walk that many comatose people claimed to have experienced. There was only a single short moment of darkness and when his eyes reopened he could not believe his vision.

A story may vary in its details, but its beginning and end come together as one.

Stories are told of worlds at the brink of damnation. Some get saved and others break. In those stories many heroes are traversing to fight to defeat the evil. But at what cost? What remains of those worlds that fail and perish? What about the heroes that get discarded and abandoned? DISCLAIMER: This may be a rather harsh read. So people are forewarned.

After dying, the death itself may not be the only thing that doesn't go as planned. One shitty card is handed after the other, or is it really? A/N: This is basically a pet project of mine to train my writing. Mostly aimed at the interaction parts between people in general. This story takes place in the Summertime Saga Universe. And let's be honest here. Most people that ended up here also know very well what it is about *snicker* Though I will say this, it won't be as glaringly obvious and some changes and twists will take place to strengthen this aspect. I may even scrap this entirely later and publish it as its very standalone fanfiction story as a magical realism one.
