I heard a voice in my head speaking to me. Although slightly muffled, I could make out what they were saying. It wasn't anyone's voice in particular. Just a voice. Regardless, they sounded desperate. Perhaps it was my mother calling out to me to wake up, as I had a habit of sleeping in, especially on the weekends.

I've only gotten a bit into chapter two but it seems to be a well designed series. The design detail and multitude of different locations mentioned makes it seem like you've take a lot of time designing the world. Good job, I like the writing.
I like the mysterious vibe to it. The way Zane doesn't react to much makes him seem a little separated from the other side characters which could be good or bad.

All in all I enjoyed the read. Still catching up with most recent chapters but from what I see this series has a lot of potential. I’m particularly interested in the world building!
