How did they all meet? What happened during the three months leading up to the apocalypse? Details about the FL’s life before everything changed—like whether she was rich, poor, or middle class—are vague. The setting also shifts abruptly, such as her going from living in an apartment to suddenly staying in a jungle cottage, with no clear explanation. While the suspense and dark atmosphere are engaging, they sometimes overshadow the main apocalypse theme, making it feel even darker than expected. Additionally, some scenes seem to be written mainly to lead to romantic moments rather than developing the plot naturally. Overall, while the story has potential, it could benefit from more consistent pacing, better transitions between events, and deeper character development to make the narrative feel more cohesive and immersive.

This story feels a bit odd, like a lot of important details are missing. The parts that should have been more detailed are getting wrapped up in just three or four lines, and the story keeps moving forward like that. It makes it hard to understand what’s really happening. It’s like living an entire year—365 days—but if someone asked me about it, I’d realize I don’t remember what happened during nine of those months, and now I’m suddenly in the tenth month. That’s how it feels while reading this.
Aside from the one zombie that Jace, Leila, Kai, and the other traitor encountered, did the other group—especially the one Fiona is in—also face any zombies? Or have they been safe so far?
How did they all meet? There’s no backstory about that so far. Will you be covering this in the upcoming chapters, author? I’d love to know more about their past connections!

What was she doing during that time? Is she rich, poor, or middle class? There’s no clear information on that. And did she first live in an apartment? Now she’s suddenly in a jungle, staying in a cottage-like place? I’m soooo confused!
This is an apocalypse story, right? So why does it feel even darker and scarier than that? Man, Darrow—wasn't he the one guarding before? Now there's a new Darrow? I'm really confused. Could anyone clarify what's going on?
