carthage after the first or even the second punik war would be interesting. a once mighty empire in decline due to their unwillingness to see war to the bitter end because they thaught it was offer and there is no way rome could financially continue fighting. guess what either rome wins or dies they never surrender(at least in the punik wars)
that would be awesome even rome struggled a lot with the germanic and then there is that fatefull battle in a forrest where an entire roman army vanished
nah. that money is just getting eaten by the monster caulled beurocracy and and external advisors similar to how von der leyen (now eu chief) did it. (oh and her children were a member of many of those advisor companys. trully befitting of her previous post as a family minister. and when the law was comming for her ahe accidentially lost her phone. then it was reseted and then she became the chief of the eu, despite not even being voted in......)
In the modern era, Germany's place in the world was different than it had been in the past. It was no longer a great military power, one which would take the combined efforts of the entire world to bring down.

it would have been awesome if the players could now receive quests to repair the town and it will gradually repair over time through the efforts of the players
