Eh, not really. If a secret can only be known by 1 person, then why can you kill someone but a friend saw you do it, but keep it a secret. That’s not a secret then? Because someone else knows it happened that means it suddenly ISN’T a secret? As I’ve told the other person, you just want to watch a mc that suffers, that’s fine, not all mc’s need to do that though.

Judging by the fact that I know of things kept from the populace, yes, they are secret, yes I know them, doesn’t change that I know them even though people don’t, they are still secret, because I’m not a idiot that tells secrets. If 1-3 people know of a secret, it doesn’t mean they’d automatically tell someone, it also, doesn’t matter, because you obviously want the mc to suffer everyone he loves to die.

I see you never read the marvel comics if you believe Dr Strange’s magic isn’t that powerful in comparison. And I don’t care, you are just hellbent on no one ever improving, that causes mc’s to suffer because it doesn’t matter that he hasn’t known her for long, he trusts her, that’s what matters. If someone he cares about dies because his paranoia then that will start to break him.

Yeah, that’s what I implied aswell. That it was generous to give him any spells he previously remembered since logically he should have none, since he doesn’t have perfect recall, he has a perfect memory.
Being a baby had nearly driven him mad. With little else to do, he focused on the only thing he could—recalling the spells from the Book of Spells. He couldn't remember all of them, but he committed five incantations and their hand signs to memory. One thing he realized was that he had developed a photographic memory, but since he hadn't possessed it before reading the book, many spells had slipped from his mind. Only the ones he reinforced remained.
