You can always post this on a different website if you have zero interest in monetary compensation for your work. AO3 has a pretty good community overall so you wouldn't get nearly as many sh*tty readers and I'm pretty sure you can block certain users from commenting on your work. I rarely see negative comments about the works there and even less insulting comments.
