This will definitely be shown in the future. Incorporating knife play into kicks is very hard with only kitchen knives but that’s if he’s using them in hand to hand.

Think of a kitchen knife in your pocket without a cover. If you move, fall, or jump with too much force and in the wrong way then that knife in your pocket will cut into you. I find it highly unrealistic that someone kicking at superhuman speed with a kitchen knife in their pocket wouldn’t have it stab into them from their high speed movement.
