Okay but let me put another quote from the wiki here: "Saiyans and their hybrid counterparts are naturally adept at using Ki. They generally have no difficulty manipulating their energy". It basically refutes what you're saying. It says it right there that they have no trouble with Ki Control lol. I'd like to also add that the MC's Ki wasn't enhancing him when he did the first lifts. That was just raw physical power. Goku struggled with 40 tons in the Buu Saga, so 5 tons is pretty high for what you're calling a 'weak' Saiyan.
I'd already figured out how to do the first thing. I could enhance my body so that it was three times stronger, harder and quicker. Which was only the beginning - it's lacking amount of enhancement was purely because of my lacking Ki Control. If I tried any higher than a 3x multiplier my Ki would break from my control, overload my body and cause damage. So here I was, cross-legged and held up by nothing but my tail as I started my meditation with deep breathing exercises.

I'm not doing power level stuff. Not even Dragon Ball does power level stuff anymore. It's too inconsistent. Besides, he's in the DC Universe. Why would I give the MC the ability to destroy planets after only having a PL of thousands? That's just a recipe for writing myself into a corner.
Okay, easy enough. "Okay, uh, my name is Ethan Blaine, I'm twenty-three years old and my favorite color is either red or yellow," or blue like your eyes I nearly said and I felt like smacking myself over the back of the head. Not the fucking time, Ethan. Fucking hell. Time and a place for something, and right now isn't the time to try and pathetically flirt with Wonder Woman!

There could be a logistics error or maybe they were playing a mental game to get him to admit something.
Why wasn't I in those records? Why did they look at me weird when I mentioned the Shard? Why did they keep saying my family and friends don't exist?

You're the first person to call the MC powerful lol. Anyway, the MC is winging it with his Ki training at the minute because he doesn't really have anyone to train him, so that's most likely why it doesn't feel like the original. I can't give you a rough estimate because I'm staying well away from PL stuff. Purely because if I add it, the protagonist's power-scaling will become ridiculous very quickly. It only takes thousands of PL to be able to destroy a whole planet, for instance. I don't want for that to happen because it doesn't mesh well with DC at all.
Also, this isn't a db fanfic. It's a DC fanfic.
(Author Note: Emotions and such get pretty hefty in this chapter. Panic attacks and such, which is understandable in the MC's position. Don't like a dude showing weakness because it harms your self-inserting? Not my problem, fellas.

Taken straight from the official db wiki: "Saiyans have a natural affinity to control Ki energy" Now, if that doesn't say they can have Ki Control, I don't know what would. The reason Raditz didn't have Ki Control is because it isn't taught to Saiyans. They believe in raw power, not control of their power. They didn't think it was important but the MC knows otherwise. Also, yes they can lower their power. Vegeta lowered his power in the Namek/Frieza Saga so Krillin could injure him and so he could get an easy Zenkai Boost.

They don't. The training room on the Watchtower is less of a training room than you'd think and more of a way to measure new League members. Most DC heroes don't get stronger through training. Superman only needs to sunbathe. Wonder Woman is basically at her peak physically because of her divine nature. So on and so forth for the rest of the League too.
You do realize I cannot realistically take your opinion into account because you just showed how biased you are when you admitted you're a dragon ball fanboy, right? I'm not trying to antagonize you either. Simply giving my opinion on your comment like you have on my story.

Then why are you reading DC at all? Character interactions, drama and suspense are what make DC great. Not all comic runs are "Hero fights villain and wins". A lot of the all-time great runs are about the hero struggling with something personal and overcoming it--or not overcoming it. Injustice is all about Superman dealing with the anger and grief of killing his wife (and unborn child) while under the effects of the fear toxin, and trying to adapt to that while changing how he treats 'helping' the world.
