The narrator only speaks in the third person now. It's been a long time editing plus finishing the story, but MANY things have been corrected. I'm still editing it to this day, though.

Walking up the steps to their two bedroomed apartment, the distinct smell of chocolate cookies wafted through the air. Lexine's stomach rumbled. She could not quite remember her last meal. The previous morning perhaps? To fit into the pair of jeans Ceeret had picked out for her, she had not eaten. That was also probably the reason why she got drunk so quickly the night before. 'I am never going to drink again.' She promised herself.

When the moon reached its highest position, the man's body began to shake. As if possessed, his body bent backward and a large crack filled the surrounding area. The man bit his lip, to prevent himself from screaming out in pain. His left arm was next to break. The fingers cracked backward, then it bent at the elbow and at the shoulder.
