Harem writers are bad at it.. it's not impossible to find a good harem story but many writers lack the visualisation on how many individuals have to interact with each other and the MC and make it readable ... In the core of harem is that ANY man ( and I mean man not eunuchs) would choose harem in a multiverse travel if given the chance... It would be 1 in 10 million man who would be willingly cutting his desire and he would be an anomaly

Now, some must be wondering why not use the mall for the base since we can get all the resources, right? Well, there are too many dangers when living in a mall. First are the humans. If a gang comes up with weapons, we won't be able to defend ourselves. Secondly, considering the size of the place, it would be nearly impossible to look at every corner for stray zombies and keep the place safe. And thirdly, if some zombies break-in, we will be sitting ducks in there because even if we run outside, we will be facing more zombies. So, better safe than sorry.

It's been eight months since the outbreak. There is no cure yet and every country has fallen apart. Dude I was reading the chapters.. I'm more for the lemon and harem than the story.. In % I look for about 80% of smut and 20 % of story.
[Harry Potter (I'm kinda leaning more towards this one here but not sure when to insert, I started writing at the first movie just when the Dursley's leave for the zoo. But that's a lot of time to cover until the cast is of age, I mean sure mc could use that time to properly learn HP magic and then become a teacher in 4th year and up or something after getting a job being a tutor or something. But I'm still kinda on the edge of whether or not 1st year should be it.)]
