Not quite. Only the combined summon will have the +100 boost; the other summons will keep their normal values. This means he’ll be somewhat “forced” to use the new combined summon in combat, as switching to another would make him weaker. So, in a way, it’s the same situation as always... Elio tends to adapt his fighting style to have the strongest summon by his side. (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol
Thanks for the correction! When I miss things, it really helps to have someone catch them, so I don't want to downplay that... However, in this case, it was intentional. It's just a little silly joke. Kriz says "wro gong" instead of "go wrong," which is the punchline, the joke is that nothing could possibly go wrong, but then, humorously (I hope), something goes wrong as he mispronounces the word at the end. It's meant to be a dyslexia joke! Again. Thank you so much for reading and commenting! (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol
"I guess we'll just watch then... With the almighty level 10 here?" Kriz let out a nervous laugh. "What could possibly wro gong?"

To your first point: the situation is that millions of monsters crash into the barrier every day, and they’re killed off as they hit. Those are numbers the people alone simply can’t handle, it’s like punching a river hoping to make a hole in the water; it fills up instantly. And remember, mana is like currency, so they’d basically be throwing money away since the injured locusts would still end up hitting the barrier and dying shortly after anyway. As for the combined familiar, it doesn’t matter which two monsters Elio chooses... the damage output will stay the same. The only change is in utility, specifically which elements he gains more control over. So, in your example with 10 summons, if Elio combines the first two, he’d get something like a salamander-frog hybrid with enhanced control over oxygen and hydrogen. His 10 basic summons would still count for the buff, giving him a total of +100 MD, which wouldn’t change regardless of which monsters he uses. (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol
No need to stress, though. Romance here is like a spice, or dessert... it’s not the main course of the story, but it sure can make things tastier. So, whatever you guys choose, it’ll only affect Elio’s final decision: whether he’ll face off with Zara in a battle to the death for the right to spread his love far and wide, or if he’ll give his heart entirely to her… breaking a few blonde, red-haired, and, well… generally colorful hearts along the way. Chapter 293: System's Legacy

Yes, you're right; the locus around the city walls are level 1. At the deposit, the locus progressed in levels: level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and finally, a single level 10 at the end. The King Locus of Lesser Wind, however, doesn't have a traditional level, it's a unique entity in its own category. (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol

Yes, it's more or less that for several reasons. Ren also calculated the number of monsters that collide with the barrier in a given time and used that as a reference, which will lead to certain assumptions. This isn’t a major spoiler since it’s mostly visual, but the terrain isn’t flat throughout the entire ring. Due to the distribution of the deposits, the mana cores are concentrated only around the city and along the paths to the deposits. There will be more clarity on this situation later. "Yes, well..." Ren brightened, as he always did when talking about numbers. "The density is impressive near the wall, though it must decrease as you move away. The height near the deposits must be lower... Even with a few million Locus impacting daily against the barrier, there can't be more than 500 billion in what you call the wind ring."

Very interesting, and I love your drawings! 😂 You should join the Discord server to see some of the story’s images. For example, the central building is quite wide but not very tall. The library is a bit taller than the walls but not by much, and the towers reach a little higher. The mana shield is transparent, so the demon actually has a panoramic view. It doesn’t stay near the deposit all the time; it does patrol rounds, which Lucien and Selene try to monitor to track its location. The demon indeed stays high up most of the time since it’s the easiest way to oversee everything and only descends when it sees something different or curious. Waiting for the demon to return to the deposit could be one option, but since they don’t know exactly when it’ll come back, it’s risky. Besides, Elio needs to enter the book to reach level 10, increasing his chances of defeating it, so this time, it’s the most convenient approach. Of course, afterward, he might enter in more striking, perhaps explosive ways! I appreciate your questions and help in spotting plot holes because it helps me improve the story by catching details I might have missed. Sometimes my perspective can get a bit clouded by focusing on other structural parts of the story. I’d love to release chapters more quickly, but I’m cautious about quality. I’m still earning very little from writing and can’t dedicate as much time as I’d like. But depending on support, I’ll try to squeeze more extra chapters from my free time, especially to pay for gifts or support. And if one day it becomes possible to focus entirely on writing, I’ll definitely work to release even faster! Thank you so much for reading and commenting! (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol

Interesting, but the main issue is that the monster is flying, which gives it a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Elio might have a chance to enter if he times it when the monster is looking away, but large-scale blasts or wide core absorption would definitely catch its attention from a distance. The risk isn’t so much the monster catching up to Elio physically, but that it would logically deduce what’s going on. If Elio manages to slip beneath the monster swarm, it could signal to the creature that there's a hidden route to the conquered deposit from the city itself. This would make the monster far more determined to brute-force its way through, realizing that there’s a logical and direct connection to the city. So, any tunnel or connection the humans make needs to stay hidden in both structure and activity to avoid exposing the builders to detection. And yes, you're close to the truth. With each step of progress, the god may indeed release more information, perhaps even crucial knowledge to aid their cause. Thank you so much for reading and commenting! (∿°○°)∿ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ︵ ǝʌol
