This meant I had a pretty good understanding of the future and people in this world. Well, that is if everything happens like it did in canon. If not, then I got nothing, and I'd continue with my plan of getting the heck out of Japan as soon as I possibly could. I had no interest in sticking around for the fall of Japan's society when shit hit the fan after all. But even with my knowledge, I have to be careful. That was not ice release because they were only able to use preexisting ice and snow to make their justus. Actual ice release is being able to make it appear out of thin air as ice instead of using anything else as a crutch. He was basically using water release that transformed it to ice.
If you don't have the nature transformation of the Kekkei Genkai, how could you perform the jutsu? Kekkei Genkai techniques rarely require hand signs, making them even harder to replicate.
