Honestly if he’s not dmc5 or dmc4 Dante than I can see him running fades on the gods of dxd, with great red actually making work up a sweat.
I know Dante is easily the equal or even stronger Ultimate class. I'm just assuming this solely based on what I know and I could be wrong.

Superman, in his original appearance, could not fly, but he could leap over entire buildings without even taking damage or suffering pain. You can do the same, swiftly jumping from your high place and landing perfectly on your feet or enemies, if you're inclined. You can also do the opposite--jump across the gaps of buildings or jump out of the way of huge blasts. You can land perfectly, without stumbling. This perk will not save you if you are knocked from a high place. Only if you jumped of your own volition, and from a reasonable distance. Jumping from a helicopter or airplane without a parachute remains a bad idea.

That fruit is made to counter in one piece, plus it’s got the disadvantages of not being able to to turn your body into its element and doubling the pain you take. Now if you went for a version of the darkness fruit where it’s able to work against anyone than it would be worth grabbing.
That's why I chose Whitebeard. His incredible physical strength, combined with the three types of Haki I'd easily obtain, made him the most advantageous choice. And then there was the Tremor-Tremor Fruit: a devastating ability, perfect for reinforcing my body and wielding it as a living weapon. It would become my trump card, the key to taking down any enemy standing in my way.
