Ves needs to design a carmine variant of the pacifier ASAP. The number of carmine mechs and cultivators will only rise. He does’nt need to put anything fancy into the design just combine the carmine system, decent armor and the pacifier system. The sooner it is made the more lives will be saved.
"The investigators brought one of your Pacifier mechs along. This is standard practice, because as soon as they activated their glows, the demonic cultivator immediately lost access to much of his powers. As soon as he was no longer able to dominate the minds and souls of our investigators, it was child's play to put him into custody."

Good point I did not notice that. If Ves can save remnants of ace and expert pilots it would greatly help the war frotn. Wait will these remnants join the anima order?
"I did. I know what I want. I did not work so long as an Apprentice Mech Designer and received the care of Ves and his clan just to abandon them at the first possible opportunity." Maikel reasoned with a surprising degree of rationality. "I wanted my living conversion mechs to serve my fellow Larkinsons first and foremost. I want to save their lives by having their machines absorb their pilots from the moment the latter is on the verge of death due to imminent cockpit breaches. I wanted to design my mechs for the Larkinsons who took care of me and helped me rise up from an ordinary third-rater all the way up to this point."

I mean look at the Prussians after the Franco- Prussian war. Germany was formed with a solid base of power and with a formidable hand in the geopolitacal situation. They just played the diplomacy game so badly in the leadup to world war 2. Bismark was a genius and was definitely one of the most remarkable men of his era like Ceasar, Charlemagne and others.
Wow, so this is a war-monger system, huh? Is fighting the most profitable thing, and farming just a service for warfare?

I wonder if companion spirits can also be used to charge the weapon. It would be very devastating and thise with companions spirits can specialize their spirits into different elements.
I am honestly not sure what I feel about Ves becoming a Carmine pilot. One of the things I love about this novel is how Ves plays more of a supporting role and has to go beyond his limits in order to contribute in battle. Giving him a mech kinda cheapens that. I always loved the irony that Ves is a mech designer, manipulator, administrator, patriarch, phase lord and many thing except a mech pilot. Give the carmine ability to others but I am not sure about Ves getting it. Plus whats the point his phaselord physique allows him many abilities and the time he spends with the mech can be spent on countless others tasks.
I don’t think anyone understands how groundbreaking the MSTS is. Anyone especially carmine mechs and Living mechs can interact there with their pilots. It works on a completely different network so it cannot be hacked. Ves should really start rolling this system out to the public. It will also allow the Anima order to sliwly and gradually expand. Also when is the Ourobos meet a Larkinson Mech. It will be interesting seeing the experience and age of this mech interacting with the Larkinson mechs and eventually the Anima order. The ideas and perspective of the order is homogenous since most members only have memories of their time in the Larkinson clan.
"I have my ideas." Ketis tested as her thoughts spun for a moment. "The test has to be conducted on a spiritual level. The MSTS is perfect for this. It already exists and it has accrued a monstrous amount of data that allowed it to reach a more perfect state. It should be able to conduct discrete measurements on the mech pilot's spirit to quickly ascertain that person's qualifications.

That will take some getting used to. Remember Ves you are the face of the Red Collective. Try not to let the aliens damage it to much.
Not all of the phase lords and alien warships had crossed the border and returned to alien space. This concerned Red Two… err, Red Three a lot as these enemies could inflict a lot of damage on supply convoys and unprepared warfleets transiting to the border regions.

Despite all the controversial things Ves has done many of us readers still sympathize and desire Ves to succeed. Although he has changed much from the young designer we initially met in the first few chapters of the story there are still a few qualities such as his honour and care to uplift the weak that still continue on.
I expected many things from this story but I never expected to feel bad for a God pilot. In hindsight the original MTA and CFA would have restricted the Destroyer of Worlds from entering the red ocean if they had known her intentions to go to the red galaxy. Her arrival changed the status quo and the mta would have either forced her out or brought in more God pilits to counterbalance her. After all threre were only originally 1 God pilot for the Rubarthans and Terrans.
"NOTHING IS TOO EXTREME! I HATE WHAT HUMANITY HAS BECOME IN THE MILKY WAY! DID YOU KNOW THAT I REPEATEDLY APPLIED TO TRANSFER TO THE RED OCEAN? THE OBSTRUCTIONISTS FROM THE MTA REPEATEDLY DENIED MY REQUESTS! I COULD HAVE GAINED SO MUCH MORE OVER THERE! THERE ARE SO MANY NATIVE ALIENS OVER THERE THAT FEAR OUR MIGHT, AND THESE DAYS THERE ARE ALSO RED HUMANS WHO FEAR EXTINCTION AT THE HANDS OF THEIR ENEMIES. YET BECAUSE I FOUND MYSELF ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BEYONGER GATE, I HAVE LOST THAT OPPORTUNITY, POSSIBLY FOREVER! NO PUNISHMENT IS TOO SEVERE TO THOSE THAT BLOCK MY PATH TO GREATNESS!"

The weird thing is that the hexers will likely get stronger. With the expansion of power in both the milkyway and the red galaxy both the Superior Mother and Cynthia Larkinson are getting more powerful and influential. Ves really dogdge a bullet by influencing the hexers to be less cruel. Ironically the more powerful the hexer state becomes the stronger the position the clan will be. Despite Ves’s misgivings if Aurelia will ever take the reigns of the clan the Hexers will likely be solid supporters and allies to her. I am slightly excited to see what the political situation in the red galaxy when Ves’s children start taking active roles. I feel like Ves will likely give up the patriarch position once Aurelia has enough experience and talent. If he can influence her when she is still coming into her own counterbalancing the hexer and other people’s (Jannzi) nfluence it will greatly pay of in the long term. With the shift to martial culture in the red ocean Ves should try to teacher her some tricks or methods to be involved indirectly in battle. The Larkinson clan will likely become a pillar of red humanity in the future.
