I'm following an orthodox vs. unorthodox (good vs. evil) system of writing Cultivators. The orthodox, presumed good, Cultivators like Monte and Evangeline — and most if not all of the Ephemeral Slipstream Sect — will not and in probably can not do unorthodox/evil things or that will mess with their own Cultivation. I'll try to develop this aspect of the Cultivation World later on as the story progresses.
Mateus died with the regret of never having fulfilled his life's purpose. However, death is not the end and he is promptly given a second life, where suddenly...
His dream might just no longer need be limited to that of a fantasy.
In a new world, where cultivation of magical abilities and the pursuit of immortality are common aspirations, Mateus has the power to Consume and Upgrade.
Consume and Upgrade what? Everything!
Consume and upgrade one's physical strength; punch a mountain into oblivion! Consume and upgrade one's constitution and vitality; survive a nuclear bombing! Consume and upgrade one's skills; in a matter of seconds, he becomes a grandmaster!
Talent, Understanding, Material, Abstract... All can be consumed and upgraded!
Author's Note:
Note sure if this qualifies as a system novel. LitRPG, probably. However, there is no shop, no missions or quests or whatever, no gatcha. Only, Status, Consumption, and Upgrade.
Then again, there's nothing stopping me from writing some bullshit where the MC need only consume some special thing to upgrade his cheatsy special ability and turn it into a system.
Who the fuck am I writing this for? Not really sure at this point. Could this a sign that I'm going insane? Eh... Food for thought~
A seemingly random instance of character creation on the deep dark web changes the life of a socially inept and insufferable game addict, Adrian, in more ways than he could ever have fathomed.
A transformation and pact with a Goddess force him out of his comfortable lifestyle as the wastrel son of billionaire parents.
Entered in the Cataclysm, an apocalyptic battle royale for the Chosen of Sponsor Gods and Goddess, with his life effectively changed into that of a game character, Adrian has to confront underground Secret Societies, Magic, Cultivation, and change dramatically if he is to have the slightest chance of survival.
With Book 2 done, here comes the shamelessness...

Hong Tian, a supreme god, peerless during his time, finally succumbed to his endless debauchery. After crossing the line and daring to act against a certain Pontifex, he dies under the combined force of 6 God Level Sects. But during his final epic battle, he manages to escape a fate worse than death and wonders through the void to restart his journey through cultivation to repay those that killed him. Alas, upon actually reincarnating, his circumstances call into question whether it would have been better to just stay dead...

Entry for Writing Prompt # 86: Weak to Strong and Reincarnation.
Also, sorry for the scuffed book cover. It's the best I could do with Photoshop; I'm not an artist :(
The MC gets Thanos'd after "stealing" a Goldfinger from a high-level deity and is forced to get stronger so said deity may one day take back the stolen Goldfinger. As a result, the MC is booped into the world of Danmachi with nothing more than a couple rags and three cheats he didn't even get to pick. From nothing, he will become hilariously overpowered and potentially traverse the anime-verse with the power of his system; Destiny's System
P.S. Don't be fooled by my powers of clickbait, that creepy Majora's Mask moon will NOT be in the story. I just thought it looked cool while thinking of things to photoshop for the cover. If you leave a review, please state if the clickbait got you. Hahaha...
After a soul has a mystical encounter with a godlike entity, it is sent to live out in the world of My Hero Academia with the powers of the Otsutsuki Bloodline. Starting off as a lowly slave laborer for the nation of North Korea, Takezushi Sakuraboshi, embarks on the path of mastering his Quirk to lead a more fulfilling life.
