man this is a interesting base for a story, i feel you should hold off on the the main character immediately being over powered though. but how would you make this work without the instant over powered route. if you can pull this off i feel like this would be a very good story. a lonely man on the moon trying to survive as earth is changing before his eyes - he could be glad his not on earth to bare witness to the destruction and death, but for the story he cant be left in peace, you'd have to introduce creatures that start to attack his station. but how would you make the system, or god interactions work if his not immediately op. you'd probably have to have a split perspective between the god, mc, and someone on earth. (I was bored, I'm interested in how you continue this story, that is if you do)

The thing is, Sunny was never 'powerful'. You can't be nerfed if you weren't ever op to begin with, the author doesn't make his abilities weaker or make them disappear (unlike some authors on here). It's just that the enemies he's facing are getting stronger, sunny would die instantly to most of the enemies he fights now if he didn't get stronger. Also, the author doesn't elevate Nephis, it's Sunny who elevates Nephis in his perspective.
Did you stick around? A lot of people say they left after book one, but honestly I didn't notice that much of a dip in quality or pacing from book one. It's just that the characters are finally out of hell, and having them constantly on the move wouldn't have done anything for the story or characters, be that the new ones, or the ones we already knew.
All stories are predictable. tbh I've never been able to hold a grudge, it doesn't make sense to me. So, I understand Sunny forgiving Cassie. Sure, it was his big secret, but it wasn't done with ill intent or hatred. Also, the fact that she already knew it and didn't even use or share it until she was cornered, speaks volumes. Furthermore, the fact that they're teenagers doesn't really matter with the romantic struggles. Sunny comes from the outskirts where you can't really experience 'love,' and if I recall correctly, Nephs has trauma, is parentless, and was trained to fight."
I don't really know how to write a review. I mostly wanted to leave a review on this novel because I like it so far. If I had to mention one thing I like about this novel, it would be the well-placed and not over-the-top 'plot armor.' I appreciate how it all comes together and doesn't feel out of nowhere. Additionally, I feel like people often throw around the term 'plot armor' without understanding that it exists in every book, unless it's a 1-to-1 novel based on a real event.
so technically his training did work... and he did actually sense magic...
In conclusion, I did find magic.

this novel is one of those better ones on this site. the characters aren't static, and they change through out the story, it has some story based humor that isnt usually seen on this site such as "go flesh yourself." the character isnt immediately strong, and has a long road ahead. (got lazy to write anymore)
well thanks again for the binge read, im probably gunna comment every 100 or soo chapters
thank you for the novel

Instinct guiding his movement, he plunged it into the bear's remaining eye and pushed with all his strength.
