As Alex has one month time. I hope he will change the receipt now with common ingredients to get first and afterwards he just swaps all 12 ingredients again for less common ones so that he has unique replacements. 😊

Mmmh, my first guess is that somehow he violated one of his oaths. whether knowingly or not i don't know. Maybe it's even related to his disciple. If someone teaches his disciple during the competition (regardless of whether Windborn tried to cheat the system, someone tries to help him or even someone tries to harm him by teaching the disciple) Another thing could be if he has some connection with his disciple or a bonded beast that causes him harm. Or a backlash in general from some kind of technique. But those two i think are rather unrealistic.
After he began talking about the void creation, a thought came to my mind. Alex splits his origin, but he can recombine and split them at will. Could Alex make a already combined Origin his Void Origin? And this Void Origin would split into a space and a time Origin? This way, he would have all three Origins. Space and Time when they are split. And the Void Origin when they are combined. Maybe that's totally unnecessary cause i am not sure whether he can use Space and Time inherently when he has a Void Creation. But i kinda like my idea. ^^

Alex slowly looked toward the gate, the swirling colors inside. For a moment, he wondered if he should appoint one of his Origins to accept the Space aura. If he did that, then he would need to use a second Origin to accept the Time aura, as he couldn't just choose one and neglect the other.

I wonder for how many of his other origins Alex will use the same method as for the sun and just use the aura to develop his origin. (Instead of learning about it) As i already said in a paragraph comment, i think the voidgate could be suitable to "collect" the aura of the void/space/time. (One or multiple of those) I currently don't know more examples, but if he wants something out of nature i think there could be even more. As Alex said, that would save him A LOT of trouble as he doesn't have to learn everything.
