She do feel that Ji Nuan should stay away from him but at the same time, she witnessed it personally how Ji Nuan yearns for him as well. Deep inside Ji Nuan’s heart, she still loves him even though she shouldn’t & Xiao Ba is aware of it. Hence the revelation to him about Ji Nuan’s struggles
