Reach*

The mention of family and home seemed to break the last of many soldiers' resolve. Even during the worst times for the Targaryens in the usurper's war, they had Riverrun and Dorne as allies—faint glimmers of hope, however ineffective. But now, the Baratheons stood truly isolated, without any support.

And Aegon wiping out the Gardeners and the Hoares.

His words chilled everyone present. The Targaryens were not known for eradicating entire families, save for Aerys's single brutal act during the rebellion at the Vale.

Dragons can’t cross the Wall in the books though.

Meanwhile, Viserys himself had ordered his dragon to conduct a wide-ranging search beyond the Wall.

The Lannisters spent decades and lost members trying to get a Valyrian steel sword and would’ve paid the entire treasury of Casterly Rock for one and he’s selling a whole armor for 100k. This dude would sell a spaceship for a few thousand.

"Your Grace, if you wish to retake the Iron Throne, Volantis can provide 300 warships!" Alios declared. Though he hadn't secured the naming rights to a dragon, Viserys had sold him and Nyessos a pair of Valyrian steel armor for 100,000 gold dragons each. When they learned that Valyrian steel was immune to magical attacks, they didn't hesitate to purchase it.

Greenseers can already do this so kind of a pointless skill.

'Dreamer? Why not a walker?' Viserys wondered, puzzled. But soon he felt a shift in his abilities. He discovered that he could now enter the dreams of others—he could directly invade their subconscious.

I don’t know why he’s so supportive of them when they could always end up backstabbing him if Young Griff turns out to be the actual Aegon Targaryen.

Viserys offered some comfort. "It's alright. If you can't master water magic, there's still fire and blood magic. After all, you have Valyrian blood in your veins."

About three miles west of Sunspear are the Water Gardens, built by Prince Maron Martell as a gift for his bride, Daenerys. The current Prince, Doran Martell, frequently retreats here to find relief from his worsening gout.

Not to mention the fact the MC is just being rude by not telling his uncle that he doesn’t want the position and wasting his time. Going to university would prob help him if he wants to continue on his martial path since he could work as a researcher and be able to analyze other paths and get paid for his goal. He doesn’t even need to fight since he has his cheat that can let him travel to other worlds so he can just gain battle experience there and not risk his life in the real world.

How ironic. You’re the one who needs a reality check.

"That would merely result in me forking out money to support the workers. I heard that some factories even secretly hire slaves to minimize costs."
