thanks but i cant take all the credit my friend convinced me to finally start watching the lotr trilogy with him bout a week ago and while watching that i ended up bringing up ur story which ended up becoming a long discussion as to what we would do if we were a dragon in lotr and that end in the dragonblooded and how the culture/country would be like we had alot of fun thinking up how the new species would end changing middle earth and the lotr timeline but niether of us r going to do anything with it him cause he doesn't feel upto writing and me i cause i got other things going on so im not gonna write anything anytime soon. u got our permission to do what u will with the ideas id rather u make use of it than it eventually being forgotten

ok so yeah same idea. him gaining the ability to take a human visage and claiming either the iron mountains or some other territory and taking human wives over the centuries and creating a dragon kin species. you and your family can cooperate with the dwarfs learning how to become impressive metal workers, ontop of your warrioresque lifestyle and could go on to take over alot of nearby land and create .fortresses that like gondor/ mirkwood keep mordor out the nicer areas after a while or when u want seduce and get yourself an elf wife cause i doubt mourning ur human wife once a century is enjoyable. pros for ur kids is obviously the physical and or magical enhancements . as for con i would say the increased possibility for them falling into dragon madness when around gold which would make the economy of the worlds newest species an interesting thing to see. they can work with any metal but gold so they would need another species to help with that like that dwarves or hobbits maybe?

thanks for the chap author . im curious tho do lotr dragons actually have a limited amount of fire breath before it runs out or is this a problem of him still being somewhat young? i never read any of the books only watched the hobbit
