so now WE are back to stupid Sylas... why is the author switching between OP one Seconds and ON death door the next. it doesn't make sense with Sylas intellect. one Moment Sylas can react before it happens and now he can do nothing? makes no sense, sorry really stupid. i really like the novel but sometimes the direction feels forced and totally out of place.

What is with the chapters that are feeling like a totally different story? you can skip it and that would be better because no confusing stuff that is unrelated to the story... one chapter to promote the opening of the shadow dungeon but only talks about an unknown demon... filler chapter unrelated to main story.

the end of the chapter makes no sense to me. he already suspected the vize-general but didn't let one of his many minions look after him... sorry way too stupid and out of character... forced plot twist is never a good way.

ren should know from experience that if you succumb to a threat once then you will succumb always. his example is evie's dealing from the past and his reason for feeling guilty. his hole character is destroyed because he didn't succumb to anyone and now he changed so much in just two chapters. really doesn't make sense and i can not even find a lame excuse like he had no other way, because that is not true at all!
