Limbo is his ability, basically an invisible clone or clones, that are impossible to detect ( unless you have the rinnegan or Senjutsu) do physical damagevand are resistent as hell.
If there was one Mangekyo which was the most useless out of all Mangekyo then it has to be Madara's. He never shows any Mangekyo powers in the anime. And no, him bringing that giant Meteor was his Rinnegan, not his Sharingan.
