i'm sorry but chu feng has been incredibly dumb lately, since the start of the story, all he wants is to exterminate the demons and save his family/country, and you're telling me that he's risking everything he holds dear just not to "take advantage" of his new friends ? Besides, i'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind if he were to play by his strengths and not his weakness since it'd allow him to save earth, no one would blame him
