I know he joked about Dugu Bo being the weakest Titled Douluo but he ain't a bad mentor figure for the MC. The guy is highly skilled in poisons which matches well with his own Spider Martial Spirit and as a Titled Douluo no matter how weak he has a lot to teach. Unless he gets Bibi Dong or other Spirit Hall Titled Douluos to teach him there is likely no better mentor than Dugu Bo.
