When she died in that accident. He never stopped loving her. He never remarried, dated, or even thought of being with another. He loved her truly. He acted as if they were still together. Like she never passed, because he knew she would always be in his heart. Then as the days passed and seasons changed. He to was going to die, and when he did. The heavens, touched by his love gave them another chance. Of course he knew none of this. The only thing he knew was that when he opened his eyes. He was sent back to a month before he met her. So he promised that he would protect her, and that she wouldn't have such a short life.
