"Exactly what you think," he smiled at her. "What do you think of my writing skill? Better than a chimp's, isn't it?"

It was, she couldn't deny it. If they ever compared handwriting, she knew whose would look like a chimp's. But it wasn't just his handwriting that was the issue; it was what he wrote. Bel could feel her ears grow warm, and she hated that such a terrible string of words had this effect on her. It was so unoriginal and worse than the roses, but it had made her heart warm.

"Actually, it isn't. Such terrible writing. What does 'Your Pervert' even mean?"

Davien's smile widened. "But it's not wrong."

"It is. You're a pervert; it has nothing to do with me," she said.
