章節 41: Behemoth
~4:30 pm, Mushroom Kingdom Castle~
Kel: Quick everyone! Barricade the doors!
(As everyone takes their hand on blocking the door, Kel had witnessed SMG4 being taken by an emoji)
Kel: Is that a giant emoji?
Saiko: Whatever it is, it does look ugly.
Maya: Don't worry. I'll try to get them.
(She then burst into the top stained glass and proceeds to tail the emoji)
N, who's on the lookout: Uzi, looks like we got some company.
Uzi: Not on my watch.
(The emoji then uses its hand to try swatting her down, but Maya tends to dodge them)
Uzi: Oh you're good. But I got a special trick on my sleeve.
(That's when Uzi launched a mini EMP on Maya, whom she ended up being shocked and crash-landed on a nearby bush)
N: Boom. Target's down!
( As Maya starts to shut down, she can't help but wonder what the emoji's going to do with 4 and the others. But nearby, a purple figure gets closer)
~Rustworks~
(The team has finally arrived at ScrapBeard's Fortress, where it's claimed to be where Sheridan's "back door" is. Meanwhile, Bo was checking with Sofia for some development)
Bo: Um... hi again. I was just wondering... Thanks for being one of Lo's friends.
Sofia: Don't mention it. Besides, how well do you know about him?
Bo: Not much. When I saw him back last December, I got this feeling that I knew him somehow. That was when I start getting those visions of small circular people, one of which is yellow.
Sofia: Mind you have an opportunity to talk to him about that?
Bo: I wish. I was too busy getting him back home, we barely had anything to talk about. It feels like this piece in me is missing in me somewhere.
Sofia: Listen, as soon as we got them back, I will tell Lo about all this, ok?
~Boss Cave~
Lamar: Well, we searched everywhere for the back door. The last place it could be is here. The boss room.
Theo: See anything, Tari?
Tari: (Scans) Um... Nothing so far.
(That's when the team notices a cute light)
Lo: Wait a minute...
Tari: Aw, it's kind of cute.
(That was when the boss reveals itself: A giant sea angler beast)
Lamar: Oh man, it's even scarier than in the trailer!
Lucinia: (to Lo) If I still had my body, I would've soiled myself.
(The beast then starts attacking the ship. Tari plans to perform a death warp glitch in the beast to get into Sheridan's back door. But there are other problems...)
Sofia: Uh guys, we got another problem... I think Evelyn just showed up.
Marco: Hey, you know what would have been helpful? If this dungeon still had A SET OF DOORS!
Lamar: Alright, alright, my bad! Look, I'll go slow 'em down, and meet you on the other side. Okay? (He heads off to fight Evelyn.)
Lo: Uh Tari, what's the plan again?
(That was when the ship gets eaten and respawns)
Theo: Woah... I almost forgot what it's like to be killed by a giant monster...
Lo: Something tells me that we're going to be here for a while.
(The angler proceeds dueling against the ship, as The Blue Jay tries to keep its distance)
Marco: Alright Blue, if you want to let us in on your strategy, now would be a good time!
Tari: (Firing a cannon) Okay, we need to do three things: One, we need to get out of bounds on the map. Two, we need to kill this boss. And three- (She looks over to see she has run out of cannonballs.) Uh-oh...
Theo: And three?! (He jumps up and punches the angler.)
Tari: And three, we need to die at the same time that it does!
Marco: (Laughs) Wow. Would suck to be someone who feels everything inside the game, huh?
Lo: (takes on the nearby cannon) I got my eyes on the prize.
(Lo then fires cannons at the beast, leading it to the holes)
Lo: All good.
(The ship then enters one of the holes, only for the beast to sneak nearby)
Tari: Theo, now!
Theo: BIG EXPLOSIVE COCONUT, GO!
(He hurls a large box of dynamite at the angler, who swallows it and the ship as the dynamite explodes, killing the angler and themselves, thus successfully pulling off the death warp.)
~The Back-Door~
(When the gang came through, they end up in a cloudy sky, with multiple assets floating about)
Lo: So this is the back door... I thought it felt cleaner than usual.
Tari: Lamar! We made it across! You can regroup with us now!
Theo: I had a dream like this once, but it's more of a washed-up tropical wasteland.
Lo: From what I hear, I think you're still thinking about that buggy you were forced into those days ago, right?
Theo: Oh yeah.
Tari: Lamar? Lamar? Lamar, we made it through the back door!
Marco: Uh, Blue? I don't think he's coming...
Tari: What do you mean...? Marco? What do you mean!?
(Sofia goes over to Lamar, who is now in Meta Runner mode.)
Sofia: His vitals are dropping! (She touches his arm, which shocks her.) I need help here! Come on Lamar, wake up! Hey Lamar, wake up!
Lucinia: I just hope your friends had a better day than us...
~5 pm, Peach's Castle~
(Back at the castle, the gang has taken refuge against the dead memes. There, Kel and Nishaki had finally patched up the hole on the roof Maya had left)
Kel: That was the last of the wood. How's the situation back down?
(It had been worse, as the team's morale has gotten down, and Bowser was already submitting to his fate)
Shroomy: Oh come on guys, have a little faith. We'll figure a way out of here.
(But then, the memes finally broke out and starts surrounding the gang. That was when a car crashed through them)
Hobo 2, popping her head out of the car: Whoo-hoo, we got them! Come with me if you want to live.
Nishaki: (sees the nearby window broken by a dead meme) Alright, let's go, everyone!
(The gang gets in the wagon, only to be fascinated by its inside)
Boopkins: Whoa! Is this the inside of the wagon?
Susan: I wish my RV was like this.
Hobo 2, via speaker: Everyone, get ready. We're blasting off.
(The car then proceeds to back up, as the gang finally gets out of the trouble)
Kel: I'll go call Maya to see if she's caught up to them.
(But as she calls her, all she got is silence. It was then Kel realizes something has gotten wrong on her friend)
