Noah was sitting in the carriage, listening to some blabbering around him. He couldn't understand what made him so impulsive, but he was sure this was the last place he wished to be right now.

The doctors around him spoke about something he didn't understand, their voices turned into the noise in the background as the prince looked from the window and watched the landscape changing from his seat.

"What?" Noah frowned when the hand landed on his shoulder. He hated it when people touched him without permission, especially when it was some career quack who latched into any opportunity to get a promotion.

When the council had the meeting about containing the disease in Etril, the situation was nowhere near the critical point. But some councilmen still suggested the closure of the area as the pirates were spotted recently on the East Sea and many suspected the illegal goods were being smuggled through the city.
