"Young master! Why did you seem flustered just now? It seemed as though you were so eager to leave! Like something was going to eat you!" On the carriage, QinZhi couldn't help but ask. Unlike Li Xin, she just felt uneasy and the feeling had already faded.
It was not shocking that she would be interested in what was making her feel a threat. But the only person around, and that could have any idea what was going on was probably Li Xin, considering how flustered he seemed. That being the case, she didn't mind asking about the cause of her uneasiness.
"You are just right! Perhaps we might have been eaten had we not run fast." He was indeed feeling lucky, at the same time vigilant. He just came to an awakening that some creatures actually existed with the ability to threaten his life. He didn't feel any good at all.
With this thoughts, he was far more interested in going back to his domain and practicing in seclusion, but this thought was thrust aside. It might seem as the safest method but, it might be even the most harmful.
He was a saber practitioner and he knew what his saber needed to have that chance at breaking through. After that he would be able to have a rise in his level of comprehension. His Mysterious Heavenly Art wouldn't be that difficult to breakthrough to the legendary stage then. Since he needed to breakthrough his saber, the best place to venture into is a the Lawless City. That is place without even martial ethics, and easy for even those at his level to fall.
Any carelessness could result in death, but it is also the best place to train in his saber, as the violence in that place has made it known as Hell on Land.
The hesitation he had been having had already been cast to the side after what he just felt in the forest. He couldn't help but imagine of a big problem. "Was the forest with such level of creatures originally and hidden? Why did they show up? What than stops humans from acting the same way?"
It took a while for him to throw them out of his mind, but by the time he reacted, it seemed that the massive sea was appearing in his line of sight.
The sound of noises from people in the streets seemed to pull him back and he was shocked to see that he had already arrived. QinZhi was good at arranging things, and the carriage moved towards the property owned by the Mystic Pavilion in this Sea region.
This where some of the benefits of owning some force in this world, it made things more convenient.
******
Opposite street, a handsome white haired man with a sword placed on the table was siting close to the window, his eyes where attracted by the carriage.
"What an interesting person! I heard about this carriage, it was said that the person that owned such a thing was the Mystic Pavilion master. I wonder whether I can get the chance to exchange swords with him." The man was looking at the carriage with fiery eyes, and the young man seated opposite him had to cough a few times to get his attention.
"Senior brother Bai, we are not here to cause trouble, we have to confirm whether that demoness has entered the sea. As for whether what you are thinking is really possible, that is not something to attempt at this moment. Lets get our priorities straight." The young man spoke with some helplessness.
"I know! Don't worry junior brother Chen! I always keep the priorities first." Even though he was saying this, his eyes did not seem to even leave the carriage one second.
Seeing this, the young man refereed to as junior brother Chen seemed to feel he was going to have to work harder.
" What are you two talking about?" Suddenly some soft voice came from the side.
Looking at the woman that had appeared the two seemed to be even more at a loss white haired Bai did not seem to have any interest in the fighting anymore. This woman was already a burden and the fact that she had found him meant he had to think of how to escape from her than fighting others.
Junior brother Chen on the other hand seemed to be slightly relieved, but felt pity for his senior brother.
"Senior sister Qu!" He just gave her some greeting gesture, and at the corner of his eye caught his senior brother's current situation.
He could not believe the man that was almost about to go out and challenge others had already shrank back. It was obvious that he was thinking of means to escape but he would not let this happen, as they had more important issues to accomplish.
The entry of this senior sister Qu was also not a bad thing for him at all, as such he just kept silent and observed the development. Regardless of how things turned out, he was at least going to be able to accomplish the mission without much drama, as long as she kept following them.
More importantly, he was aware of the person present in that carriage that had just passed by the streets, from his master's own words, "Li Xin the master of Mystic Pavilion is a ruthless person."
This kind of character, was not to be trifled with and his senior brother was still lacking compared to him. It was rumored that he had reached the 7th stage with the technique he practiced and more importantly he seemed to be a saber user.
The saber technique had an unknown origin, but it was considered powerful, and most people did not understand but Li Xin understood the stage he had reached with it. It was already on the perfection stage, and the next stage was to see if he could take the technique beyond and the sea was his perfect plan for this.
Even though Chen had not witnessed this with his own eyes, it was worth knowing that the man in the carriage was among those that had fought the Demoness of the Black Lotus Sect and come out with a draw. That was not a joke and even more importantly, he seemed to have reached a deal with her.
The other factions in the Martial arts World seemed to have declared themselves enemies of the Black Lotus Sect.
Li Xin indeed was someone that had come in close contact with the woman from the demon sect. It will be false to deny that her talent was something worth admiring, this was because she was about his age if not younger.
Even in other factions, no one about their age had achieved the current level of strength they had. In the same time, she was someone obsessed with the martial arts too. Since he had already declared he was going to live in seclusion in the sea, she also started to plan on her practice path.
Her appearance in the sea was also just due some things she seemed to need for her practice. More importantly, the demon sect was not far off from the sea region. He had just arrived and did not know of her existence, and even if he found out, he would probably not care much.
He had goals, and in the moment he stepped out of the forest, he had a feeling of having avoided a crisis. He was not going to waste his time, it was best to start with his purpose. He was sure that with the level of comprehension, he could grasp something.
It was just that chance that he needed, and once it worked, he would not only improve in strength but even his comprehension would also rise. Taking advantage of it, he wanted to eventually breakthrough to the 8th stage of the Mysterious Heavenly Art he practiced.
Once he took a step from the genius level comprehension, perhaps the benefits that came along with it would be even more to him. He was more interested in this, and since he was someone that had transmigrated to this world, he had higher expectations.
Within the sea, he would practice until he saw he had the posture of someone that can calm the sea. He wanted to take advantage of the saber technique and see if he could get in touch with nature itself.
Once he entered that domain, then his power would be scary, even without breaking through the Mysterious Heavenly Art, he could be able to fight those legendary figures.
At least he was sure that the power of nature was already beyond the scope of martial artists. But that did not seem to stop him from wanting to try, after all he was someone that did not want to end up as a pile of bones in a few decades.
That was the end result of other martial artists from the information he had gathered, as for the legendary figures, he had not come in contact with them.
The sense of danger in the forest however seemed to wake him up, reminding him that such existences where real.
He did not care about the reason why he was able to retreat from the forest safely, rather his mind seemed to be on the threat of life he had experienced.
"QinZhi, make arrangements. We will head in the sea when the sky darkens. We should handle other issues tonight and then head for the Island the Lawless City is located." He was being very careful.
He had to meet an old friend first before continuing on his journey to the Lawless City. This person was the same person that Bi Yun and her maid had come to visit, the Divine Healer, Lu Chang Yao.
"Young master! Are we really going back to that place? I thought you hated that place, and even didn't plan on going near that city." She couldn't help but speak up.
But how could Li Xin not tell that she was afraid of that hell. People might be unaware, but back then, she even almost earned the title of a Shura in the Lawless City.
"Hehe! Have you forgotten how you managed to reach the 6th level of your technique so fast! The City Lord of that place is no longer a threat to me, after all we are both standing at the Unrivaled stage. Only I won't be showing off my cultivation this time, neither is anyone else supposed to know of our identities. I have to hone my saber skills, make sure to get us two masks." He indeed had made this plan with considerations.
