Eun ha was trying hard to keep her head at work, but her kind was far off.
Where she was going to get 10,000 dollars to pay up the debt was the only thing she thought about and what is more, the deadline was this evening.
she didn't have the best father but he didn't deserve to die, when it came to this company, there was no negotiation, you either pay what you owe or they decide your fate, and now they have him.
"he's going to die" she thought as tears welled up in her eyes.
She approached the table with her usual poise and placed the wine cups, spoons and forks in their usual location on the table.
Muchen held his phone in one hand he caught a glimpse of Eun ha who was busy setting the table. She had a slightly round face with a pointed nose. Her brows had a perfect ark, and we're full, she had long and full eyelashes that was almost impossible to overlook with brown eyes.
Muchen had noticed this by just one glance at her.
Eun ha was careful not to spill anything, all she could think of were the loan Sharks, she knew they had no patience, and they had no mercy.
Governor Kang arrived at 7:15 pm Muchen was quite unhappy, he hated it when his time was wasted, if it weren't for the simple fact that they needed this contract he'd have left already.
Muchen stood up from his chair as he bowed customarily to Governor Kang and his daughter.
After which, he shook hands with them.
The temperature of the restaurant had dropped drastically because of the sudden change of weather, the dark clouds had given most people the impression that it was going to rain. Kang Mi cha could but help but stare at Muchen, she was obsessed with him, ever since they were little, she'd see him in several business conferences their parents attended when they were little, but she had never summoned up the courage to say hi because of his cold demeanour.
Given, she was daddy's girl and her father was prepared to do anything for her.
He had decided to help her get the man she's always wanted.
"Did he want her?"
That was an answer she knew too well, she had only hoped he'd grow to love her in return.
Governor Kang ordered his assistant to hand over the papers to Muchen.
He looked at the contract thoroughly, it was quite promising he admitted to himself, he furrowed his brows as his eyes caught sight of the amount of money involved.
I'm sure you've met my daughter Mi Cha, he said pointing to the beautiful young lady seated beside him, she could easily be mistaken for a model, she had the looks and shape.
"Nice to meet you Mi Cha" he said without a hint of expression on his face.
"The pleasure is all mine" she responded with a huge blush on her face which could be spotted from 10 miles away, she was just really happy to be seated opposite the man of her dreams.
just then, Governor Kang's assistant Chae Won whispered something in his ears.
Muchen, I'll leave you two to familiarise,
yourself. I have to leave immediately for something important as he got up and left barely touching his wine, just then Eun ha came with the food menu. She started with Kang Mi Cha,
"what would you like to have for dinner, ma'am?" she asked in a very polite manner along with a bright smile on her face, the body guards had given her the impression that these were no ordinary people. They had money and power too.
she then handed the menu to Muchen who only wanted grilled steak.
Mi Cha had ordered Basmati rice and red soup with grilled Salmon.
The dinner was not a chatty one, Muchen wasn't interested in whatever games his parents were playing.
He just wasn't interested and he knew he had to find a way if giving them what they wanted without compromising his own decisions.
Eun ha served the dishes as she heaved a sigh of relief when she noticed she had successfully done all that without any mistakes.
she took the elevator to the ground floor and stood there for a while lost in her own thoughts.
"Why are you standing here, you've got work to do," Hwan Bok said humorously trying to mimic the Manger's voice making Eun ha chuckle, this was something Hwan Bok was good at, he knew how to elevate one's mood.

Mi Cha tried to initiate a conversation with Muchen and from the looks on her face, it wasn't going too well.
"Muchen, what do you think about the new taxing system?"
"it's good" he replied coldly.
"How is business, I heard the Wangs are your greatest competitors in the gaming industry."
"Hmmm"
"How do you plan on beating then at their own game?"
Muchen made a tight fist
"could she not shut her mouth for a moment." he thought to himself
he finally managed to reply with great difficulty.
"we're working on it and it's against the company's policy to discuss company matters with those unrelated to the company".
"oh right, pardon my manners, I guess I'm just a Little over-excited" she responded, a bit embarrassed.
Soon two men approached the reception at Mayfield, hotel, they went in for a quick dinner before going home, they liked the intercontinental dish served at Mayfield.
Eun Ha had to return back to the ground floor after serving the governor's table, she had caught a glimpse of the two tall men in grey colored suit, her heart skipped as she thought of the loan sharks, she felt she had seen them before,
"it's all in your head Eun Ha keep calm" she said trying to calm herself down.
"Eun Ha? " the manager called,
" please take a menu to that table and get their request."
deep down she would have wanted someone else to do it but this was her boss's orders, who was she to reject.
she took the menu and walked straight to the table, her heart was racing very fast, she couldn't fathom exactly why.
" Good evening Sir" she said bowing her head politely as she offered the the menu
"what would you like to have?"
they looked at the menu and pointed what they wanted, she went out from the table and brought the cocktail they had ordered, she turned back to leave when the voice of one of them stopped her in her tracks.
"wait" her heart stopped for some split seconds and continued beating with difficulty.
"I know you, you're Mr Lee's daughter" he said with and evil grin that revealed his tobacco colored teeth.
she froze as the tray she was holding dropped to the ground.
"I was right, it's them"
