章節 39: Chapter 39
It wasn't long before he noticed what was happening. While he was able to practice his skills, it didn't drain him at all. Taking a moment to make sure that he could figure out how to quickly place those plates that he had preferred. The thin plates were now quickly able to slide around his body, acting as a way to intercept it. It might have been hard to get into the rhythm of use, but he knew it would be the best for a bit.
It was an hour of practice, both with needles, the spears, and plates sliding over. The wound barely throbbing, but still was something to distract if he paid any attention to it, the reminder of a mistake in a fight being costly. Though, he could vaguely tell something was starting to close up a bit more thorough then just scabbing over. When he pulls out, looking back down over the practice arena, and his world, he could see some of the animals that were living on the surface staring up at the satellite floating high above them.
When his eyes open, two sets were staring into his own, Azure and Lapis had come back from the hunt, still having a light scent of blood. Enough to let him know that the pair had a successful time. Tongues were flicking over their lips, as if they were trying to make sure that he knew it well. His nose bops them, looking over the happy and satisfied pair. Nadia had moved up far enough to join Syren, using the Psywolf's tail, curling up tight against her side.
It was amuse to have seen the pair so comfortable with each other. Neither pair seemed disturbed by the cubs little impromptu fight. Which only had him trying to flip them over onto their backs. "Find anything good?" He asks them with a little grin on his lips. Azure's head bobs enthusiastically, with Lapis was shaking her head.
Their disagreement was amusing, their head turning after a few bobs/shakes, moving to have their faces toward each other. Their noses are almost touching as they bring their eyes to look into the other's. 'Secretly' chatting between each other, which was being helped by Syren, working her like a telephone operator. Of course, line were tied in, not just separate, letting him hear what their difference was.
Lapis had decided to keep their hunting spot a secret. She felt they didn't need to share, and she didn't want him to be tempted to steal the hunting spot. Though, she planned to share after they had gotten their fill from their 'pantry.' The blue furred foxes tail was flicking in agitation, worried that she might have it share it with even more now.
While Azure was happy to share about their hunt. She wanted to even act out their glorious hunting of rabbit and squirrel. The squirrel wasn't the old man acting one, but still was using projectiles to scare them off. But the glutton couldn't be scared, and achieved the end of their hunts with a spike through the chest. The rabbit was just as simple as they always had, wrapped up in quick little fight.
It wasn't hard to tell they were getting better using the needles, having made sure they would be able to get their full red meat meals, not letting him have the chance to learn more as Azure let's herself 'yawn' wrapping her mouth around her sister's muzzle. It would probably have stopped them speaking, if they weren't using their minds. It was also cute, looking like the little fox had decided to imitate a snake, and was trying to snack on her sister.
For the next hour, they started to fight with each other, having forgotten what they were discussing. Lapis unhappy about the smell of her sister's breath, had tried to rinse her sister's mouth out, which led to some interesting attempts to squirt water. Most of the time, for a moment, Azure would look like a water logged puppy, before drying off, and returning fire at her sister.

Desara Little short, having to deal with the virus has me a little stressed. Now, I’m not sick myself, but with all of these restrictions getting placed, I’m worried what might happen soon.
